The Preservation Process
I treat every image as a piece of history. My process is a blend of advanced digital craftsmanship and artistic intuition, divided into three distinct phases.
1. The Preservation Phase (Digitization)
Every restoration begins with a high-resolution, color-calibrated scan. I handle your original physical media with the utmost care in-house.
Premium Archival Scan — $25.00 per image
- Includes: High-resolution (1200 DPI) digitization and secure digital delivery.
2. The Restoration Phase (Artistry)
Pricing for digital restoration is based on the complexity of the damage. I provide a firm quote after a physical or digital inspection of your asset.
Level 1: Essential Refinement — $45.00
- Best for: Faded colors, minor dust, or small scratches that do not cross faces or intricate details.
Level 2: Structural Repair — $95.00
- Best for: Cracks, stains, or water damage, including repairs to background elements or clothing.
Level 3: Heritage Reconstruction — $175.00+
- Best for: Missing sections of the image, severe damage to faces/eyes, or extreme mold/texture damage.
Artistic Colorization (Add-on) — $55.00
- Transforming a monochrome image into a historically accurate, natural color palette.
3. The Legacy Phase (Archival Prints)
I provide physical prints on exhibition-grade, acid-free papers designed to last for generations.
